OK, i officially hate the bay area. It's always cold and windy as hell, and, SOMEHOW, you get sunburnt at the same time! anyway, on to more pleasant things: I'm about halfway through Nevada (By my very rough estimate), and i'm already stoked that i decided to make this trip. I'm just amazed by God's creation and His creation's creation. I went through Donner Pass, and seeing the snow at night with nothing but moonlight is just a surreally cool experience. I really wanted to get out and run around, but i also really wanted to keep driving, so i decided against the former. BAC(K) to the yo-yo contest (heh, heh, get it?): My favorites in each division were Augie and Tubasa; Tubasa won, and Augie got second, so that worked out pretty well. The highlight for me was actually very similar to my hihlight from Chico (the fact tat Augie knew me from like 5 years ago): Hironori actually remembered me from SIX years ago! Not only that, but he remembered me for my yo-yoing! When a professional yo-yoer remembers you for your yo-yoing, that's pretty cool. It reminds me of when Chuck Short once said something along the lines of "To entertain a bunch of yo-yoers with a bunch of yo-yo tricks is quite a feat."
INTERESTING SONG--From "Pezcore" by Less Than Jake: Boomtown; About an hour after that song was played, i passed through Boomtown. Probably a sign that i should've stopped there and gambled, but i didn't. Oh Well, There will be plenty of time for that on the way back.
