5/16 -- 9:25 PM (Central Time)

Well, today was another long driving day, and a scary one at that. I almost died. I was looking over at a potential stopping place (Rain + Dark + Driving = Me Crying), and i started to drift into oncoming traffic. This put me in a very awkward position (after i regained control from swerving away from a truck): it seemed obvious that it was time for me to find a place to stop, but it was trying to find a place to stop that almost got me killed, so i just kept driving for an hour or so. While in shock from my ordeal, i must've missed a turn somewhere because i appear to be on the wrong road now. At least i'm still going east, but i'd like to get back on the interstate as soon as possible. I'll check out the map tomorrow morning.
