Today, i needed a shower REALLY bad, so i drove all across New Jersey and back trying to find a Motel 6. I failed, so i stopped at the first motel i saw. When i asked the lady in the front office how much a room was, an interesting thing happened: she said, "79 Dollars plus tax," and suddenly, i felt clean and refreshed. I no longer needed a shower, so i went back to Red Bank and found Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash. After buying a Buddy Christ bobble head, I asked the guy how to get to Quick Stop. He handed me a flyer with directions on it like every third customer asks the same question. So i went to Quick Stop and bought a couple things, and then i sat outside in my car eating my bread and mapping out where to go next. At the same time, watching all the people come in and out of Quick Stop was oddly entertaining. As it turned out, i just went the wrong way looking for a Motel 6 earlier because about ten miles down the road the other way, i found one. I didn't stay there because it was too expensive, but i did acquire a guidebook that led me to where i am now: a Motel 6 in Carlisle, PA that's 20 bucks cheaper.
