Well, it sounds like i failed to avoid the south completely: I drove through Kentucky today. I can't explain how disappointing it is to see a hot girl (like the ones working at Dairy Queen), and then hear that twang spew out from their mouths. It's like...being shot in the chest (because i know exactly what that's like). I had dinner at White Castle tonight, and i'm glad i did because now i know it sucks. O man, i can still taste it (i think it may be coming back up). Kentucky is weird: they have 4-digit highways, the have state highways with the same numbers as nearby interstates, and they have highways with NO numbers (like the Blue Grass Parkway i just got off). Oh well, at least their gas is cheap. I got to Elizabethtown today, so i'll probably spend the whole day here tomorrow and then continue west.
